Birch Bay Teriyaki & Chinese in Birch Bay

I have been a returning customer since the day they opened because the overall experience when eating here is excellent. The food is exceptional, always served in a timely manner and the prices are more than fair!

Earlier today I went to go eat at this place. The place was full of flies, I was hungry so I stayed the service was pretty bad when I got my food it looked very poor quality I proceeded to eat my food I bit something hard and it was a rock I talked to the cook and manager and they both got mad at me like if it was my fault I hope you guys don’t make the same mistake by coming here please don’t come to this restaurant I don’t want anyone to get sick or would want anybody else to go through this same situation if you still decide to go to this restaurant I hope you don’t get sick this place is messed up invest your money else where your better then this.

Excellent Shrimp Teriyaki and wonton soup

Super good and tender food

Egg drop soup was not egg drop soup. It was nasty. Cesar salad was sooo gross too!!! They use CANNED CHICKEN! Ewww

I don't recommend this place. Table and floors are sticky. The teriyaki sauce is not very good. Neither sweet and sour. My water had something floating in it. Cups look like they need run through a deep cleaner. However, the owner is super nice that's why two stars.

Friendly service, excellent food and good-sized portions. We'll DEFINITELY be eating here again!

Best terriaki in town

The lunch I ate with my family was delicious, and above all, it was really delicious that the children's favorite tempura was crispy and delicious.

It's good food. Dated decor and slightly grimy tables. That's how you know you're gonna get a good meal.

Always a great place to grab some real good food. Love it.

It was okay food. The musty odor from being closed up in October is tough. Server was very nice.

We enjoy eating here at least one a month for dinner, nice service, good hot food, they have a brisk take out too...

A bit pricey but delicious food

First time getting food here. Ordered sweet and sour chicken and sweet and sour prawn combo with chicken fried rice (custom request). Was very good. Big portions and well cooked. Came with very large side of sweet and sour sauce instead of on food. Gave me ability to add to my taste. Soup was very good as well. Would definitely recommend. Not sure how they have gotten some of the negative reviews they have gotten.Will be getting again!

Food was not good & all went in garbage. Egg drop soup had no flavor. All tasted like rancid oil was used.

Fresh, tasty food at a good price.

Waitress was eccentric but that made it even better for the small seaside town. Food was good. And plenty of it. Took some back to the cabin and it was still good after being reheated. It's also perfectly placed in Front of a good spot to go play in the ocean on low tide.

The owner was very friendly and sweet. She is the consummate hostess. The food came quickly and the teriyaki dinner more like a combo plate/bento with soup, eggroll, 2 gyoza and salad. NOT your restaurant if you are looking for the typical teriyaki so prolific in the Pacific NW. The sauce is a soupy sour-ish gravy. The flavor and texture was a disappointment and did not suit us.

Place is really filthy. Sticky tables and very run-down. Stinks because of shore. Wouldn't recommend it to anybody

Recently visited and the owner was very kind. The food was much better than I anticipated and I couldn't ask for more.

I love this place so much. The owners are so friendly, kind and Soooo Generous. Food is Soooo delicious. It's neen years to come and my kids are loves.

Spent almost $100 bucks with tip and we had a 45 min wait for takeout, just to feed our family of 4!!! It was a place I'll never waste my money on again!!!

Island time, bay time, it exists in this town. I wanted a long time, over 20 minutes, maybe 30, for the food. My mistake not to try their teriyaki. Fish and chips special instead. Bad fish, coleslaw and chowder, perhaps the worst ever. Remember this in any new to you restaurant, stick to their strengths. The chips were alright.

It was very good. I like authentic Chinese food so only 4 stars. Really good for Americanized Chinese food. :)

I had fish and chips. It was the special of the week. The price was as good as the food. The inside decor leaves much to be desired though.

Very polite staff and the food was delicious. All seating is currently outside only due to covid-19 and take out is offered as well. Food served outside is also served in "to go" containers which was quite nice, since the portions are generous and it made taking left-overs home very simple.

Great fish and chips, excellent teriyaki too. Nice people.
